Sports Injuries

Injuries to the hand, wrist or elbow can result in fractures (broken bones) or sometimes ligament injuries around the joints.

The wrist and elbow joints are very complex and occasionally surgery is required to diagnose and treat injuries. This is often carried out by a keyhole technique (arthroscopy).

Ligament injuries can lead to a condition called carpal instability which can require complex operations to recontruct the ligaments to stabilise the wrist.
